Contemporary Letterpress - The Taboo of Farting

Initial poster spray painted and inked using stencils. The hand drawn typeface used with the word 'Fart' has been designed by me, showing the free flowingness of farts
The brief here was to design a Visual Article based on the previous poster. I chose to do a book format to educate people on how we should start talking about farts in public. It is a ‘toot-al guide’ on the ins and outs of farting — good and bad. The book has a quirky feel to it as farts are a fun and free flowing topic. I have used a pink rubber band to associate it with the whoopee cushion.

I also used embossing throughout the book. This is used during the subtle moments, giving the viewer an idea of the subtlety
of farts.
